Wow - what an absolutely amazing, unforgettable day! Thank you so so much for making the day go so smoothly. It really meant a lot to the both of us how hands on you were, how you went above and beyond and - most of all - it was wonderful to look up at times throughout the day and see your smiles of support. It meant a lot to us.

We got married at Villa Farm in July '23 and we simply cannot recommend this venue enough. As a family run venue, we were made to feel so welcome from our very first meeting and everything had such a personal touch. Nicole was our co-ordinator and she was an absolute dream to work with, her attention to detail is amazing and we can honestly say we felt zero stress leading up to our day as the team took care of everything. On the day, everything ran like clockwork and we could simply relax and enjoy.
The onsite accommodation is also excellent and allowed us to enjoy a full weekend with our family and friends. We look forward to staying again in the future and being able to reminisce about our day. A huge thank you to Nicole, Ola, Corinna and the rest of the team for giving us an unforgettable day xx

We simply could not have asked for a better venue and people! From the first day we met Nicole, we knew we wanted to get married there, not just because of the stunning location, but because the team are genuinely so friendly, down-to-earth and helpful. Unlike some venues, where absolutely everything is a costly extra, York Barn includes so much and are so flexible. Everything about the weekend was perfect, and Nicole, Corrina and the team could not have done more to make it that way. The onsite accommodation was superb, and made our wedding feel like more of a weekend event than just a day. There's literally not a thing we would change, the saddest thing is that we now don't get to speak with them and meet up regularly, the whole process was made so easy and fun. We'll be going back for anniversaries and special occasions for years to come!

We booked York Barn at Villa Farm immediately, as soon as we visited. It was the only venue we needed to visit for our wedding as it was so perfect! Our summer wedding was so magical at Villa Farm and ourselves and our guests had a wonderful stay in the surrounding cottages the night of and night before.

The team behind the stunning venue can't do enough for their couples and we are genuinely sad to not be in regular contact now our wedding is over as we really do consider them friends.
Our wedding went without a hitch thanks to our coordinators Nicole and Corrina and the rest of the team! We truly had the best day and we had zero worries or concerns as everything was taken care of.
The venue itself is beautiful. We were so lucky to have an outdoor ceremony in the grounds and our wedding breakfast inside was everything we hoped. They were really understanding when it came to our decorations and vision and we could not be more thankful!
Thank you so much guys for giving us the best day of our lives so far!

Where do I begin, this venue doesn’t get the attention it deserves… It is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for a rustic, outdoorsy romantic wedding, this is the venue. I feel so lucky to have stumbled across it on the search for a venue in York and as soon as we met Nicole to show us around we were hooked.
Amazing grounds and the fact they have cottages on site is fantastic. They even have a discount if you book 7 or more cottages. A huge red flag for me and my now husband was to feel rushed on our special day, with a lot of venues having a arrive at 8am and you have to be gone by 10am the next day which I hated. At York Barn We made a full weekend of it, arriving at 12pm on the Friday and a late check out of 12pm on the Sunday.
The staff are just amazing and so accommodating, especially Nicole and Corrina. We were so impressed by how understanding and accommodating they were when it came to making adjustments to meet the physical and emotional access needs of some of our guests. We can’t thank them enough for making our day so stress free.
We wish we could do it all again! Couldn’t recommend York Barn at Villa Farm enough!
