York Barn is formerly the stable building of Villa Farm and is our latest edition to the complex. It has been carefully restored to provide exceptional event facilities, comprising of multiple bi-folding doors allowing plenty of natural daylight to sweep through, underfloor heating for those cold winter months, undercover heated terrace, private kitchen with facilities accommodating both small and large events, a beautiful fully stocked rustic bar, luxurious WC facilities and a large patio area with outdoor furniture overlooking our 15 acres of landscaped grounds.
We are situated 4 miles from York City Center and only 30 miles from Leeds Bradford Airport, so we are incredibly accessible for local and International clients.

Should you require any breakout spaces, we can provide pop-up syndicate rooms on our lawns or delegates can use our larger cottages onsite which have open plan kitchens and dining rooms.

With our blank canvas features within the York Barn it allows our clients to completely transform the venue, creating a bespoke setting for the launch of a new product.
Since we are located on a very popular test driving route in York, we have hosted many car launch events over the recent months. Our location and onsite facilities enables our clients to showcase the new models to their full potential all within the beautiful grounds of Villa Farm and surrounding areas.
Onsite we have ample car parking for up to 200 visitor cars and space for a further 20 cars across our private lawns featuring a beautiful woodland backdrop and scenic lake.
Drinks Receptions & Gala Dinners
We are exceptionally good at creating memorable events.
Within our York Barn we can accommodate up to 150 guests for a seated gala dinner and up to 220 guests for a standing drinks reception.
So whether you're planning a family celebration, a corporate shindig or a VIP dinner, our onsite team will help you put together a package perfect for
you and your group.
Our clients love our blank canvas features, rustic beams and whitewashed walls for exhibitions in the York Barn.
With our floor to ceiling windows, private terrace and onsite car parking we offer an incredibly accessible location for hosting various exhibitions, ranging from art, fashion, food and beverages.
Using our farmhouse tables (2.4m x 1.2m) we can hold up to 22 exhibition stands, however exhibitors are more than welcome to bring in their own stands, displays and flooring in order to dress the barn accordingly.
Fashion & Photography
Since launching York Barn we have been told it is a "photographers dream" and it's purely because of the flexibility within the venue.
We have beautiful features within the barn, lots of natural daylight, whitewashed walls and 15 acres of private grounds all of which can be utilised for fashion and photography events.
We can hire our barn out on an hourly rate for photoshoots, so if you would like to update your portfolio, shoot a new clothing range or simply host a studio day we are totally flexible and happy to work around you.
Within the barn we have fairy lights, lanterns and chandeliers however should you require professional studio lighting, photographers are expected to bring their own or hire in suitable equipment.

Depending on your group size, budget and requirements we will put together a bespoke package perfect for the occasion.
Since we have an in-house activity provider we are able to host a variety of outdoor pursuits to accompany your incentive retreat and really offer your guests something with a unique selling point.
